In addition to the military duties as a General, successfully led the Steering Committee for National ID. Received prestigious international awards. A masters in Defence Studies, M Phil in National Security Studies is an alumni of DSCSC and National Defence College. A pioneer army aviator, held variety of command, staff and instructional appointments including a year as military observer in the Former Yugoslavia. Attended courses abroad and traveled many countries. Enjoys reading, traveling and golfing.

Is a retired military officer. Credited with an illustrious service in command, staff and instructions. Was an aviator and a Qualified Flying Instructor. Had a tour of duty in Mozambique in blue helmet. A widely experienced person, travelled many countries and attended different courses in USA, Indonesia and Pakistan. Well known in the planters circle for his contribution as Chairman Tea Board. An avid golfer and a squash enthusiast. A natural leader and always draws instant respect.

An experienced structural designer who is credited with designing more than 100 buildings including high rise buildings. A member of the Institute of Engineers Bangladesh and RAJUK earned reputation for his managerial and operational excellence. A soft-spoken person and a sports enthusiast who is adored and loved by all.
